I lost my password! Im putting the right one in. but it doesent let me in! I need to get in GMAIL!?

For unknown reasons, gmail is a dam nuisance about passwords. I was able to log in without a password because I confirmed my login by text message, but for weeks I had no idea what my password actually was. I changed it several times, but the process is such a dingbat mess that by the time I got through, I had no idea what had finally worked. Are you sure you need gmail?
