Maui, I took what I believed was a piece or coral. Call me superstitious, but since taking that rock or coral...I have been very ill. I have managed to develop pneumonia which kept me out of work for weeks then it developed into a bronchial infection. I don't want to take chances, but how can I return this stone if I can't get back to maui? Is it alright to return it here to the beach on Oahu? Help.
I live on Oahu in Hawaii and I took a piece of coral. A few months later, while visiting?

The coral was dead. It had washed up and bleached on the beach...I did not take it directly from the ocean

Coral is a living organism; anything living/previously living could harbour something to cause human illness or infection. It's not voodoo, it's either science or pure coincidence. Don't give in to superstition (if you believe in God, the power belongs entirely to Him and not to any superstitious objects). Throw away the coral and forget about it. I wish you a speedy recovery!
