I live in The Netherlands and there's still no snow (since 2012). Is a winter without snow possible?

A winter without snow or very little snow is possible. I live in Nevada USA, sometimes we get tones of snow and the next couple of winters we get almost no snow. This year we are getting very little.

I don't know the science behind it, but yes it is possible.
