i can see no reason for your relationship being ilegal why i say that if your parents had issues with your relationship they could have gotten him in trouble because your underage sometimes others wouldn't have a problem with it how long were you together?someone has to be talking to him about the legalitys and he must have believed what they had to say or he wouldn't have broke up with you or he meant someone else and hes using it about the illegally being to gether so he can be with this other gal thats the only two things i can think of that could have caused you to break up
Technically what your saying is he's 19 and your 16 it is illegal but it shouldn't really matter if your parents are OK with it if they are then that means that there will be no charges pressed against him. Trust me I dated a super senior(19yr old) my freshman year(14yr old) I also had to study up but in this case I'm a guy that was gonna be the "accuser." Oh but if your parents aren't OK with it you are a minor and they can press charges on him without your consent.
My parents absolutely adored him, we were together for 5 months. I just need to know if it's illegal or not.
