I'm 13 and I like my friend (guy) but he's my best friends ex. I told him I like him and he said he also liked me but not enough to have a relationship that would last. after a while he asked me out. i said yes. he doesn't flirt with me like he used to. (him being a total flirt, its unusual) i think he doesn't like me anymore. should i forget about him and like him only as a friend?
I like my friend but I'm getting friend zoned, what to do?

Why don't you go ahead and ask him out straight, instead of possessing a flustered mind on this matter? If he speaks out that he doesn't like you any more, then try talking to him to know and prep the things that would really attract him and so you can make him more than your friend.
I think he is much confused about u,he loves u but he had some think in his heart which make him confuse about u,he needs time to think at it.
So if u really want this guy i suggest u to have some patience
If ur best friend is not much insecure about her ex then u can ask here some hinds to make him attrated to urself(or to anyone who knows him better).& if u directly ask him about his feelings he might get much frustrated & possibly can say u no.
It may be also use less if he says no after a spending long time with u.
So i recommend u to do,what heart says to u...
everytime i try asking him he changes the subject.
