Over a few months ago, my dog bit a feral cat but she wasn't bitten, instead she was scratched and she bit the cat, ultimately resulting in the cat never coming back. I can't identify the cat, unfortunately, since it occurred during my sleep while other family members were still awake. Over 24 hours later, I gave her a kiss on the lips (where the blood was, it was wiped off though) and I don't know if I indirectly contracted rabies. My dog however is current on her rabies vaccination.

The rabies would take no more than a month from the leg to take over the brain, if you contracted it near your mouth, i would say a third of a month. And plus, unless you drank bodily fluids and those fluids came in contact with your blood (your mouth was bleeding) then your stomach acid eliminated all the rabies infested particles. Also, by the time the rabies took over, you would be experiencing tons of symptoms such as double vision and slurred speech.
I'm MikeBry but my account got locked out idk why. At the time I think some of my teeth were a little bit loose (i'm a teen), and maybe some of the rabies went into my bloodstream through there. Is there still any possibility of rabies? I read somewhere some people start showing rabies symptoms one whole year after being exposed to it...
