I have just got two female Russian dwarf hamsters. They were both in the same litter and they seemed fine together there.I brought them home and did everything I was meant to with the cage. They found their way to the food. However when they play in the wheel they both poop in there. I don't like to have to keep taking it off to clean the poop. What should I do? Also last night I kept being woke up by one of the hamsters squeaking. Sometimes it was just one, other it was reapeated 10 times. I looked over to see the one squeaking sat on the other. I don't dont is she was grooming the other one or not. Then the one squeaking kept running away. One sleeps in the wheel and one sleeps in the actual cage. They usually play together. But I don't know why they're acting weird.

Seems weird. Give them at least a week after buying them to adjust to a new home. Use a wheel with holes so if they poop it will just go through the holes. Squeaking is a sign of fear, so maybe they are threatened by each other. I would get another small cage and put the scared hamster there. The agressive one probably just wants its own territory and a bigger environment (basically, she doesn't like sharing).
Great! Hope they're no more problems.
Well they're sleeping together now. Some website say they might just be playing or having fun. I don't want them to poo in the wheel or through the wheel. And I don't want to seperate them. The cage is massive.
