I just discovered an ingrown hair today, it was unnoticeable and then it was just there?

Put a warm cloth on it for a couple of minutes,this will help bring the hair to the surface of the skin. Then get either a sterile needle or tweezers and gently break the skin and pull it out. Make sure you wash it well with soap and water afterwards to avoid infection.
