I just bought an All-Clad 4 qt slow cooker and noticed that the glass lid does not fit?

...  snuggly - should it?  Haven't used it yet but am wondering if this will be a problem and am interested in other people's experiences using the All Clad slow cooker.  Thanks

Slow cookers are rather sloppily made. The lid usually fits, but not well. You can get a choice of slow cookers at low prices at Goodwill so it's not a big deal.
