If by "Christian beliefs" you mean you believe in Jesus and the Bible, then I would reccommend you talk to your pastor and/or someone else who is either atheist or agnostic to see if they can help you decide.
If you mean you believe in things like helping others, giving to those who have less than you, not stealing or otherwise breaking the law, gay rights, etc., I would reccommend that you continue on with your life in a religion-free way. Believing in these things simply makes you a good person and most of them are beliefs of many religions anyway :).
Good luck and I hope this helped you :)
I can understand why you would feel that way. Especially what is going on in most religions today. What I would suggest is having your own personal bible study and not only will you learn what the bible really teaches, you will learn about our creator more intimately, his purposes, you will receive satisfying answers to any questions you may have and you will see what it is that God requires of you. Then you will be able to make a concrete informed decision.
You can have this study at no cost to you, whenever you like and for as long as you like. Check out jw.org if you want more information on this.
You may hold any belief of any religion, be it Christian or any another. And you may choose not to agree with any religion. It is perfectly ok. What is important is to realize the truth about life. What is important is to understand who am I, why am I here. To realize the truth that every ‘body’ must die, to realize the law, as we sow, so shall we reap. Where do we go after death? Why does a little child suffer? Where is God? We have to realize God in the kingdom of our heart, in the temple within. It hardly matters which religion we follow. All religions are good but they are kindergartens. If we want to overcome ignorance and realize the truth, we must be enlightened in the university of spirituality which is not a religion, it is a reality of life.
