The older one, a red eared slider is about 5 yrs old, i have had him for.... oh say 2 1/2 years, he pushes my 2 year old african aquatic sideneck like crazy, i got Romeo, ( the as) three days ago.... it worries me that they r fighting cuz i had a 10 yr old res that i had to re home bcuz his shell length had gotton to 15 in. In a 20 gallon tank. But even though he was 12 in. Bigger than bullwinkle ( my current slider) they showed no aggression what so ever.... i might just be overreacting but im super protective of my turtles. Theyre unusually domestic and LOVE people contact.
ps. Theyre in a 200 gallon tank theyre both abou 4 to 5 inches long and 3 to 4 inches wide top shell length
