I got my hamsters together because the Humane society said we needed to adopt them together. They love each other and are males. Every thing says no excepting it! They are over a year and cuddly! I have a HUGE cage and more then two of everything for them but the cage. No saying that I'm a bad owner. Good answers only please

Firstly you are doing all the right things by checking things out & obviously love them a lot.
As long as they have grown up together and have made & stayed friends there should not be a problem. New individuals will not be accepted into a group later on. As with all pets it’s possible that your hamsters will fall out from time to time so provide lots of hideaway holes in their cage to allow them space to sleep separately if they want to.
We have looked after Russian Dwarf hamsters over the years (amongst many other animals) & found the above to work. As your hamsters are now grown up and could be considered middle aged (they live busy little lives from 2 to 3 years), they should remain happy together. I have noticed that they all have different characters & perhaps yours are happy social types.
Hope this helps.
