Is it possible if you put something very heavy (ex bunk beds, exercise machines, etc) on the floor it would make a hole in the floor (or the floor would fall) and fall.
I was always freaked out about that as well. it freaks me out. My house isn't even that old, but when it's really windy out the walls and ceilings crack. It scares me too. Just know it won't happen and I'm so glad I am not the only one who worries about this!
