I have sent bitcoins to a public address I own. I also have the private key to the wallet.

Can i check the balance and spend or send my bitcoin too another address please?
I made my paper offline wallet through bitaddress.org. Usually a private key starts with a number 5, but because I used a paraphrase to generate the address, my private key starts with a 6.
