I gave my camper to my landlord as collateral for past due rent but i kept the title to it. He is now wanting the title to it. Do i have to give it to him?

noooooo u do not have to give him the tittle u only would give up the title if you don't pay what was agreed then that's when he takes the collateral then u give him the tittle but untill then u keep the tittle it's just like u go to get a loan they want your car as collateral meaning if you don't make the payments on the loan they get your car in return but if you make your payments and pay it off the collateral is yours again.... but seems like hesomething trying to trick u
