I am still a fairly young teenager and in the past few years, I have lied and been a horrible person to my family and done some stupid things over the internet. I do not know a possible way to make it up to them. I have dated behind their backs as well. I do not want to lose them as I have already begun to. Please help me as soon as possible. (And please do not judge me, I know I have been a royal fool)

Do not ever think you are a fool and don't let people tell you are. We all make mistakes, epecially when we are at a young age. This is the time you are just figuring out things on your own. The best thing to do is put the best foot foward from here on out. Try to be helpful when your family needs things. Sometimes apologies arent enough you will have to show them you are really trying and they will soon see you are sincere.
A teenager who has just realised their parents are faliable, has rebelled, started to discover themselves, come arround to realise parents are doing the best they can, have equal difficulty in letting go & looking out for you!
You should not be to hard on yourself & I speak as a father of 2 teenage daughters & son! No one is 100% to blame or innocent you will probably know now. Mistakes & admission of error is just part of the right of passage towards adulthood.
You have made a huge step forward in taking responsibilty for your mistakes, and hence for your life. As a parent, I would be proud of you, just for this!
We are all different, but I wish for my kids to be happy, respecting both themselves & others. This will help them fulfil their potential, building a sustainable life & become a well rounded person.
I do not expect them to be a copy of me!
Prehaps you can do something to show your parents that love & new respect you have for them, for instance do one selfless nice thing for them a day, follow their advice even if you immediately do not agree with it, show consideration for others, develope your talents & gifts.
Only you can take this further
Hope this helps find your way.
Thank you, this advice is excellent and I believe it will help me tremendously! Thank you so very much!
Thank you, you give a great perspective to this.
