Before the implant fitting, i had a pregnancy test and it was negative, i then lied to my doctor saying i was on my period to hurry and get the implant fitted without waiting, my period is late by 2 weeks, and i cant go back to the doctors because i lied, many thanks if anyone has any help or ideas what to do if im pregnant or if this is normal?
I have had the implant fitted before my period and have still not come on. Should I be worried?

Contraceptive implants and injections can be fitted at any time during your menstrual cycle, as long as you are not pregnant
some disadvantages could be that ,your periods may change significantly in the first year of using a contraceptive implant. You will usually have irregular periods and may have heavy periods, shorter and lighter periods, or your periods may stop altogether. These changes may settle down after the first year of using implants, but they can sometimes continue as long as the implant is fitted.
Although these changes are not harmful, they may not be acceptable for some women. Your GP may be able to help by providing additional medication if you have prolonged bleeding.
overall I don't think you should be worried !

Cheers!:)
