The leap day is not March 3, it is February 29. So what are you talking about?
If you were born on Feb 29 you would normally celebrate a birthday on March 1, or Febraury 28 if that is more convenient. Every birthday you are one year older, and that is your real age.
This does not confuse anybody else, why are you confused?
