I have attempted to update my computer everyday for the last week, and each time the update fails.?

... I'm running Microsoft 8 and I've done everything that Microsoft support (and others online) have suggested, but it keeps failing. What do I do?

You need to update to Windows 10. Updates won't work on anything older than that.
