I have a tv that has a 25mm line down the centre of the screen . How do I get rid of this thx?

It is an old 42 inch panasonic tv and has this    black line down the centre and I cant sem to get rid of itl.

it sounds like something on the tv is going out and you might have to get another one older tvs do this because things go wrong with them as they get older anyway you can try and ajust it to see if that helps sounds like it could be involved in the brightness of the contrast
