I have a toy airplane that I was told was from WW2 and that it was made from scrap planes? how much?

I have a toy airplane that I was told that was from WW2 and made from scrap metal airplanes by a solider during that time. I have tried to search for anything like this, but cannot find anything like it. I was wondering if there was anything like this metal airplane out there and what the estimated price might be?
