... burn to create a deficit to lose 1 kg. Doing some research the general consensus seems to be approx 7700kcal. Suppose I eat a enough calories to exactly meet my TDEE and then consume a litre of Olive oil my caloric surplus would be approximately 8067kcal (according to nutritional information provided). This would mean that with this surplus slightly greater than 1kg of fat should be stored however due to the specific gravity of olive oil being approximately 0.91 that means that a litre of olive oil would only weigh 911 grams and couldn't possibly create more than 1kg of fat stored due to the law of conservation of mass. Any thoughts or explanations ? Thanks

The body needs forty or so nutrients to sustain life. Some of them must be balanced, meaning the exact quantities don't matter much as long as you get the proper ratio. Some nutrients work best in small amounts at frequent intervals, some work best in large doses at longer intervals. The one thing we know for sure is that there is a lot more than our meager logic allows us to understand.
You need to stop applying logic to things that haven't been learned yet and study some books about nutrition. These books are old, but they are still the most popular introduction to the field:
