I know a lot of self harm scars go white and raised but my scars on my inner forearm are just thin lines slightly darker then the rest of my skin and on my hip they are thin white lines. I was just wondering what causes the difference between scars?

Probably because your skin's thicker in some areas of your body than others and possibly the depth/width of the cuts vary, I'm assuming. My ex and my grand daughter are also 'self cutters'. It makes me incredibly sad & worried that people have no other way to release inner pain. I do believe in God BUT studying 'lam rim' (basics of Buddhism- Buddhist philosophy) has really helped me, understand my mental & physical pain and helped me deal with it greatly. It stopped me from hating myself for not being 'good enough'. Simple meditation, yoga poses, gardening, art, poetry, talking to like-minded-people, etc. Also helped me, learn to treat myself, the same way, I'd treat others; with love & respect. Hope I'm not stepping out of line by over-answering your question, dear. I want to be helpful. Take good care of yourself.
Scar tissue forms when the body can't get enough oxygen to grow normal tissue. Get "Pure Vitamin E Skin Beauty Oil" at the cosmetics counter. Be sure it says "Pure". You can also use capsules by poking a hole with a pin and squeezing the oil out. Vitamin E has to soak in, so put it on when you can leave the skin bare for a while.
While you are at the drug store, get B-100 pills. The first line of defense against depression and anxiety is B vitamins. Vitamin B2 is a water soluble dye that turns urine bright yellow. When the color fades, it's time for another dose. Read some books about nutrition so you know how to eat right.
Im already taking ADs so I don't know if taking other vitamins will help
That's why you want to study the books on nutrition. There are seventeen vitamins just in the 'B' designation, some numbered and some not, so there is plenty to learn.
Thank you, no its okay, Im trying to get help :)
