I have a problem with this question please Help me?

Question

A car traveling at a speed of 30kmph is brought to halt in 8m by applying  brakes. If the same car is traveling at 60kmph , it can be brought to halt with same braking power in how many meters?

Answer

We have to assume that "braking power" = "deceleration" and that deceleration is uniform in both cases. Then twice the speed takes twice the time.

This is a goofy problem because stopping a car that suddenly is enough to blow the air bags.

I have a problem with this question please Help me?
