Im still having problems with my furnace, it has an automatic pilot which means the pilot light lights itself. I turned Everything including the gas to the furnace off, I also turned off the furnace circuit breaker. I let it sit off for about 30 minutes and when I started everything back up the pilot flame started but after 2-3 minutes go by it shuts right back off. I did everything I could I even changed the filter and nothing is working I have been in the cold for 3 days now and I can't have someone come look at it because I don't have the money for it. It's been 0 and -1 degrees for the last 4 days and I can't take it anymore. Because all my water pipes are frozen and I can't do anything not even flush the toilet. Can someone please help me. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP.... it's too cold and I can't even wash up anymore.

If I were in the same situation, I'd get a wood stove. there are usually places to get scrap wood for free. my family used to heat the house with disposed of picket fences. I'm sorry to hear you are in such a difficult situation.
Try lighting it manually, but please be careful.
