I have a Gateway 7324 laptop - the cmos battery is dead. Where is it and how do I change it?

theres normally a compartment on the back of the laptop that has a couple things you slide to gether at the same time this will release the battery compartment i think they all look the same if its dead you might have to get another battery if the one you have don't charge
