I have a drastic increase in fb page likes. Not sponsored, and all of the likers are Indian, why?

I've had a page for 2 years and had around 600 likes, and this week I got 1400 new likes, why is this happening?

it could be their first time being involved with social media web sites and when its a new thing for them its like wow look at this and they really like what they see
