I have a bunch of colorized state quarters, what is the value, are they legal tender?

Should i sell them or just trade them in. 1998-2008 statehood quarters that i got as a gift.

Answer

State quarters are worth 25 cents apiece. You may as well just spend them. If you have about $20 you can buy a one ounce coin of pure silver and then you have something of value.
