I have a 1993 dodge ram 1/2 pickup, every time I try and order something on line, they ask is a D,?

... W, 150D, 150W, I've contacted the dodge dealership with the VIN and they say its just a 150, can anyone tell me the difference ? the motor is a 5.2 L
