I had cold last morning and I can&lsquo;t make the class then I  email my professor，my professor answser me: "Sorry to hear, I knew there would be a good reason but being sick isn&rsquo;t really a good thing, is it? " what's meaning? Did he mad of me?

Answer

I am not quite sure if it is good or bad. But what I think he is trying to say is that he knows that you are legit sick but you are happy about it so you didn't have to go to class.
