Hey guys I had a McDonald's interview yesterday Dec 2nd. It was my first ever interview and I was bit nervous.
I applied to that McDonald's dec 1st and got a call the same day by the manager asking me If i was able to come in for an interview, I was shocked because I low key didn't expect it. I acted as mature as a 16 year old can act and we agreed to have an interview at 9:30am.
I woke up extra early because im That kind of guy, i dressed up all black and arrived 5 minutes early. I told a supervisor or someone with a similar level and said that I was here for an interview, Im bryan btw and sat down. She told me "wait here im going to look for her". I waited and here she is, she said "are you bryan, Bryan Mendez?" I said yes that's me and gave her a smile. She gave me an application form and I filled it out, completed the whole thing and gave it to her. She asked me "why do you want to work here" I said because I pretty much grew with McDonald's and I wanted to have a job because i want to support my family (which is bs because everyone in my family works) she smiled and said "why should i hire you" i said im very energetic and charismatic and I think I can bring a lot to this company. She said "okay okay I like that". While she was reviewing my application I had to make a funny excuse for my sloppy way of applying so I said "sorry for my sloppy job in the application, its my first time" she laughed and said It's oka, that's fiiine. I awkwardly laughed.
We finished the interview and she said they're going to call me back within this starting week (Dec 4th to Dec 10th)
Guys am I going to get hired?
I mean the MacDonald's Is huge it has 2 floors and half of the first floor is filled with self order kiosk. There's a sign outside saying something about hiring and careers, i didn't pay attention but what i did saw was "STARTING AT 13.30 AN HOUR".

Bryan, hasn't anyone talked to you about applications/resumes and interviews? For future reference:
1. Don't say you want to work to support your family. You are not married with kids. You could have said something like, "To keep up with my family, they all work, we are go-getters."
2. Why should you be hired? Because you are reliable, a quick learner, trustworthy, responsible and a team player.
3. Never apologize for your application/resume! Take the extra minutes to do it correctly! That piece of paper is YOU. It stands in for you representing you when you aren't there. The manager interviews a lot of people and sees a lot of people every day. She can't remember them all. She needs to check something on the app. Who do you think she wants to hire, the sloppy app misspelled, hard to read, blanks that should have been filled in and answered wrong and looks squirrely or the app that looks good with everything correct?
As far as getting hired you stand a good chance unless someone else applies with experience and a good looking app.
Good luck!
