Specifically, they knew I was not qualified but offered training; however, they just told me the layout of the board and what everything did and did not tell me important information like what to do if feedback occurs. I've done one concert and had to operate 6 channels at the same time. Needless to say it was stressful, but I got through it alive with only a few feedback issues. I really really really am nervous for an upcoming concert I will be doing sound on because it is a semi-professional artist coming in. I'd like if anyone had important information that I should know or perhaps a website good for training people new to sound engineering? Preferably a free course.
