As a Professional Piercer, fill a shot glass with warm water and put in some non iodine seasalt. Let the salt disinagrate. Then place it over your piercing laying down for five minutes twice a day. This will allow the seasalt to travel through your channel and soak. Using this method after the shower will have the best results, because then your channel is already moist. Rubbing alcohol is too abrasive.
Hope this helps!
