I am starting a concession business. Is it possiable/probable to use the oil out of the fryer for fuel? Can I still use conventional diesel as well?

1. It is uncertain if it would work on diesels with high pressure common rail systems, the effect on the cat or partical filter & seals fuel lines.
2. Obviously the fry oil cannot be used straight out of the pan, but will need processing & filtering.
3.Veg oil is more viscous & often needs heating in some conditions to work. It is not unusual to start & finish on ordinary diesel switched in from a small seperate tank.
I googled "f25o diesel on fry oil" & top of my list was:
www.modernsurvivalist.com" with an article to convert a 2002 F250 with a 7.3l Powerstock Diesel.
Googling " fry to diesel oil" I found a good article with further links at "Popular Mechanics" which covered the process & tips for building it.
I hope this is helpful, a lot of supermarket chains here in the UK are starting to use it as I guess they are in the USA, so engine development will follow!
