Well apparantly docs recommend very minimal weekly alcohol intake but most people i no drink every to most days. red wine is better than white it has antioxidents which r gd for u. redwine will stain the teeth ova time. um i guess the dangers r becoming an alcohoic&using alcohol as a coping mechinism. too much can cause serious damage to the liver&your health often resulting in brain damage or even death. in my opinion if ur healthy otherwise&eat well&aint hurting anyone because of it then enjoy ur nightly bottle&dnt worry too much.:)
.Red wine is recommended by many docs for health purposes in the 2-3 glss range. The amount you are using can cause you problems. At 14% not proof, assuming your bottle is in the 28.5 to 32oz variety, you are consuming approximately 3 1/2 to 4ozs of pure alcohol per bottle, enough to cause multiple organ system damage if chronic usage extends into multiple years. Though you mav never in this scenario experience changes in tolerance, the body becomes accustomed to this daily cellular attack. Though you may never crave or abuse, it sets the stage for physical dependence. I had a 75yr old female patient who admitted to the hospital for bone problems did not mention in her history that she drank two vodka martinis daily for 30 yrs, because that was her custom and because never drunk considered it to not be a problem. 24hrs later she spiked a102 temp with faciall flushing and minimal hand tremors. At 48 hrs, same temp, red face with profuse sweating, visible body tremors, and extreme nausea. At 72, temp, body reddened, sweating, vomiting, shaking with hallucinations. I was consulted for medical consult and instantly recognized signs of delirium tremons or extreme alcohol withdrawal, We treated with heavy dose librium and averted death. We later learned of her alcohol use. Her dailly intake was but 3oz pure alcohol but her cellular structure had become dependent to the dose. She had no way of knowing a problem existed. Long answer I know, meant only to display the hidden danger of alcohol. You would be best served by reducing your daily intake. FYI only, best of luck
Are you a woman or a man? I think for men is max 4 cups of wine a day, and women is 1-2 a day max. In order for you not to be negatively affected. Alcohol can have many impacts on your health: from pancreatitis to alcohol induced hepatitis, GERD, and distroyed brain cells. Alcohol also causes dehydration, which can affect your electrolytes levels. When you mess with those, you are messing with your heart basically. When your heart is working harder, you can have problems with hypertension, which affects your kidneys, your arteries and veins. That can affect your circulation, causing many issues including peripheral vascular disease. Alcohol can also permanently change the chemistry of your brain, which i wouldnt be able to explain exactly, but basically you would have to take psych meds in order to function properly in society, this would be with long term alcohol use. For instance, if your dopamine levels are umbalanced, you can develop depression. On other words, alcohol can affect your whole body, as well as stress. Try to find alternatives to cope, and if you want to quit, AA meetings are helpful. A whole wine bottle a day is a lot, you should def consider an alternative.
YES, But it's supposed to be 1 glass a day, not 1 bottle a day.
