I don't know what happened to my iPhone 5c but all of the sudden all my notes were deleted?

On iPhone, double-tap on the text you want to copy. You can extend the beginning & end by dragging the box ends.
Open a new note and double-tap where you would type the text and a pop-up should appear. Select "Paste" And that should recover them.
