What about fancy dress? Where everybody dresses up according to their own theme? Or pick a film (Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men). Or pick something classic (black tie, English garden, the Jazz age). Or just go for a specific colour (or combination of colours).
A party with a theme of 80's Disco. Most of the men can wear checkerd polo, ankle socks,Hightop Sneakers, etc. Women can have curly hairs, two-sided ponytails, etc
You can search on the Net for some ideas. Then you can have intermission numbers with some impersonating of 80's icons. Or can have band competition where the contestants will use 80's songs. The background song of the party is also 80's. Have also 80's foods motiff like tri-colored pasta, doritos, For appetizer, could use spinach and bread dip. For drinks, Combine the orange juice, milk and water in the blender. Add the vanilla and the sugars and ice. Dessert? marshmallows, butter, and Rice Krispies in a microwaveable bowl
