I did not write cbse class 12 exam.After 1 year gap, I wrote cbse class 12 exam(1st attempt only). I failed in maths exam.?

I will write compartment exam on July 16,2016. My aim is to become IAS officer. I loosed all my motivation due to my father's death. My father was Tahsildar(Govt. servent). If I passed maths subject, I have an idea to take Govt. job as my father died while he was in service. What job will they give, I don't know. They are telling they will give only V.A(Village Administrator) post. Many people say first enter into Govt. job as getting Govt. job is a big matter. By side I can study collage in correspondance. My age is 18. (Already 1 year waste :( ) What is your opinion?
