The latest two nights i have been having a hard time sleeping. I have slept 4-5 hours a night and I am so tired at the day it affects my schoolwork. I am not stressed over anything, it's dark in my room and i feel tired, but I just can't fall asleep. What should i do? Maybe it will blow over by itself?

Do you use a computer or tv before you go to bed? The bright lighting affects the producing of sleephormones. If that doesn't work or isn't the case, you can try listening to some ASMR or guided relaxations on youtube. I recommend something from WhisperCrystal or TheOneLillium. Just put them on your iPod or put your laptop next to your bed and cover it with something for the bright light.
As per Emmelian its a good idea to reduce and remove stimulants such as TV, computer games, drinks like coffee or Coke, going towards & during bedtime. It is thought that your bedroom should only be for sleeping in eg no TV, PC's and the like, but that is not really practical as its probably your only private space. However you can always do this by putting things away and arranging your room from day time format to a sleeptime mode.
A routine & keeping to regular sleeping times is very important.
If all this does not help, then do not worry as it relaxation is a good form of rest in its self & there are many good guides todo this.
It may also just be a growing phase & will pass, but it is a good time to adopt some good habits!
Hope you slept well if not, had a relaxing nights rest.
Thanks for the wise words, i'll try it!
Thank you for the tips! I don't think it's the computer because i have never reacted to it before. ASMR made me really relaxed, but I had to listen for 3 hours before i fell asleep. Still, much better than usual, I slept like a log. Thanks again :)
