I can't get my dog to go to bed?

We relocated my dogs bed today and she wont go to bed. It's now 12am and she's standing outside my bedroom door not knowing what's going on. I've now been trying for half an hour for her to go to bed but she won't. What do I do?

Did you wash the bedding? A dog lives by her nose. If you washed her blanket, it's not her blanket any more because the odor is gone. You have to rub it on her fur until she can smell it again.

Lesson learned - don't move your dog's bed. Like cats, they don't like change. They like some form of routine.
