I canned some pickled beets almost 2 years ago. All the seals are in tact. Are they Ok to eat?

Just wondering how to tell if these beets are still okay?  What are the signs of spillage?  I also made some blueberry lime jam 2 years ago and am also wondering about those.  They were all stored in a dark cupboard.

yes they should be perfectly fine, if you look at a jar of pickles from the grocery store the date is always about a year later but can last 2 years more than the printed date. :)
