Apologize for breaking the bike, and tell them it was not on purpose, tell your parents you didn't mean for it either and ask them to please understand in a nice tone. You should not give your phone number or address to strangers, instead, ask the people who's bike you broke for their number, and go home. Give your parents the phone number and explain, and have your parents call them.
