1) What does the Amish life look like? Hard working farms from Pennslyvania, Ohio Tennessee and other states
2) What languages do Amish people speak beyond English? Are there certain words Amish people use among themselves? I have heard Dutch mostly
3) How do Amish people view the world around them? They don't particpate much with the outside world at all
4) What do Amish people do if someone gets sick, since they don’t go to college to learn medicine? They care for them the best they can and some use local hospitals
5) What do the Amish do in the winter to keep warm? Burn wood, coal or kerosene
6) Can someone from the outside world join the Amish community? Yes, if you commit to their religion and have a desire to quit all your worldly views.

8) What kind of jobs do they have besides farming? farming, building, cabinet making, bread making and other community jobs
9) Are women allowed to have jobs? they work in the home or in bakeries
