Ok, so I am a dancer and it is something that I have loved doing since as long as I can remember. Recently I have come across this amazing performing arts school near me which could totally help me become a professional dancer.
But that would mean leaving the school I'm at. I am also unsure how to suggest to my parents about the new school.
Any advice anyone?
I am unsure whether I want to move schools or not - what should I do?

Ok, lets get to the bottomline here..do you have any talent? I mean besides what you think you have or want to do. Thinking and wanting are very different from actual skill and ability. So who told you that you have the skill to become a professional dancer and support yourself financially in New York, Las Angeles or Las Vegas which are very expensive places to live and have a glut of wanna be dancers??
Are you currently taking and in the past took various dance and gymnastics classes? If the answer is no then the answer to your question is stay in your current school and quit reading this.
Are your parents aware of your desire to dance? I would assume they are if they are paying for private dance lessons. If so they should be open to at least listening to your school suggestion. If not then the answer is still no and you should quit reading.
Is this performing arts school certified so you can actually get a high school diploma and qualify for college? You and your parents should go check it out and find out what kind of curriculum they have and how hard it is to get in and where do their graduates go college or a fast food job.
Good luck.
