My apartment was just sprayed with pesticides/chemicals to get rid of Firebrats/Silverfish. I was just curious if some of the things the exterminator did was proper procedure, and how long it would be hazardous towards my pets and I. He had spray the solution on the electronic cords in my apartment. In the kitchen but only on the floor, as well as all the floorboards in the apartment. Now are some of the things he did okay? After 4 hours is it really safe for my pets and I to be around it? Also if I went to touch any of my cords after 4 hours, would it still be toxic or (as he described to me) would the solution just absorb up and be only harmful to the Firebrats/Silverfish?
