I am studying History and Geography using an Arts Degree. Besides Teaching, what else can I do?

I am interested in becoming a teacher, but I want to know if I have ANY other options at all? Recent information I've received is telling me otherwise

Geography will be more useful as a science degree, and history is only really good for research. I would consider switching if I were you, just in case.
