Your question is not clear, do you want Kota stone on terrace or you want to make roof of Kota stone?
I think you should go for traditional tiles. Any kind of stone is not a good option.
Joints of Kota stone expand during summer season because of heat which can cause leakage and getting a proper slab is also difficult with Kota stone.
If you can solve the issues related to the joint crack problem, then Kota stone is a good choice and can be implemented on terrace.
