I had a cousin who used to stammer and thus used to feel shy talking to people. He eventually went to a doctor and got it sorted out, but he still felt shy. Here are some tips he used to overcome his shyness, which may be useful to you:
- Practice correct pronunciation
- Be sure of what you are going to say.
- Take a deep breath before a big speech.
- Remember, you are what is important. It doesn't matter what other people think of you. It's your tongue, your life-say what you want with confidence.
- At this age, your personality will already have been cemented into those around you, but with hard work and dedication, you can change that.
Best of Luck!
