I am medical doctor came to U.S pass USMLE I didnt get rsidency shoold I pass exam again?

When I passed USMLE, I did not have green card and could not get residency.I work as arain in UCI Canser Gospital and became sitesen of the U.S.passed 12 years.Should I passed USMLE again?
