I have no idea if I should leave them with my mom or just take them. But they are older. I know they will eventually pass but, I am gonna be heart broken when they do.

Well let me tell you that if you feed these cats correctly and take them to
vet appts once or twice a year and keep up with health issues and you keep them indoors only, there is every possibility they can live to be 18-19 years old.
The next thing I should tell you is that cats are very fond of routine and ritual and they hate change. Even rearranging the furniture can upset a cat.
So knowing those things what is going to benefit your cats moving or staying? Not what will benefit you but what will keep the two cats the happiest?
How long have they lived in their current home?
Are they happy there or are there dogs or cats they will be happier to move away from?
Do the remaining people in the home love the cats and would they be treated well without your intervention?
Would they be kept safely indoors?
Would the person or people who would be their care takers give up on cleaning their litter boxes?
Would the care taker/s feed and water them properly and take them to the vet? If the cats stay behind you could start a cat fund so that if they needed vet care you could send the vet money to help cover the bill.
If you answer those questions you will know what is in the best interest of the cats and whether they should stay or go with.
If the cats get along then do not split them up. They don't function well when that happens.
Good luck making the decision that will keep them safe and happy!
Also cats can live past age 11, so your cats can possibly live longer than you think
